You can slowly migrate your Avaya Definity by replacing the SPE and Avaya processor with a new external rack mount processor or you can take all compatible expansion cards to put in a rack mount gateway.

Avaya s8700 media server is a dual processor that allows a no downtime scenario and processors that auto initiate without dropping a call.

Avaya SCC, Avaya MCC, and Avaya CMC cabinets are common traditional cabinets depending on Avaya G3si, Avaya G3r, Avaya Prologix processors. These are the processors and cabinets of old. Customers can keep old cabinets and / or migrate existing compatible packs to new rack mount Avaya Gateways. Avaya Gateways range from Avaya G250, Avaya G350, Avaya G600, Avaya G650, Avaya G750, Avaya IP600 (no longer available) and more.
